I have about 20 rose bushes so although that's one of the only flowers that I plant (once established they don't need water around here) I'd rather plant something else in that planter...although roses would balance the front of the house with roses on both sides of the house. What if it's today? - A survivalist's bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06291866801645327324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3280390706862225283.post-76034426094965706732012-02-22T12:05:24.594-08:002012-02-22T12:05:24.594-08:00Rosemary, thyme and sage would all do well. They had to be moved from an area which had full sun and exposure to the elements to an area which has afternoon shade.

It's true that the heat coming off the bricks at night would help cold sensitive plants. I just need something that can take the heat of the day with the brick wall making it even hotter than the southern exposure itself. What if it's today? - A survivalist's bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06291866801645327324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3280390706862225283.post-47596993113871163992012-02-21T11:44:56.706-08:002012-02-21T11:44:56.706-08:00Maybe fill the planter with dwarf blueberries.Maybe fill the planter with dwarf blueberries.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3280390706862225283.post-23710530698321456422012-02-21T05:38:03.635-08:002012-02-21T05:38:03.635-08:00Don't you just love fry bread!
