I found a good deal on a portable solar charger. It's the Power Pocket 12W Solar Charger. RealGoods has it on sale for $179. http://www.realgoods.com/product/41-0217.do?ihtc=e_dotw_pp_408 This website doesn't tell you a lot about it but I googled the product and found it on a couple of other websites. It says it will charge most small items in a couple of hours. You can also use it to trickle charge a 12V battery. They list it at $299 but I saw it on other websites for $259. $179 is a good price and RealGoods is a good company.
