Survival on the Line - the news report

I read what was written on the new's website.  I haven't seen the video yet.  It sounds good though.  They interviewed GI Jim.  They also interviewed a person who teaches basic prepping.  Then they had a young family live without their electricity for 24 hours.

  1. Thanks so much for posting that. I went to bed, forgetting it was going to be on. They did a pretty good job.

  2. 24 hours without power and they weren't prepared? When it's dark, go to sleep. When it's light, get up. It might be more of a 'challenge' if they did it for a week.

  3. Good ideas and thoughts, but parts seemed common sense to many different levels of prepping. 24 hours was a good start, but try 48 or more. I like what you've done by testing yourself for a week and then a month. We are preparing to test ourselves for a weekend to start.
